This brand new
measuring device is available as a whole solution together with specially
developed profiling software or as a stand alone unit to use with
different RIP software.
Thanks to its ability to measure most different
flexible media with a thickness up to 0.7mm, profiles
can be created for paper, canvas, backlit,
banner, canvas cover for trucks, and more. Users can also
create fully automatic real profiles for transparent
media. The versatility will also be emphasized due to its
3 reading modes: automatic, spot and density measurements.

Spectro LFP RT |
The new BARBIERI spectrophotometer for automatic
measurement of most different materials in Large Format Printing. |
The Spectrophotometer Spectro LFP RT is
an automatic measuring instrument for both transmission and reflection
mode to create ICC profiles (International Color Consortium) and is
used in modern Color Management for digital output of images. The instrument
will be delivered with a special measuring software (BARBIERI Spectro_xy)
which allows you to measure every kind of targets, to use the instrument
for linearization applications and to use it with other software.

Spectro 100xy |
Extremely precise color measurement. |
The Spectro 100xy assures exact determination
of colors on both transparent and reflective materials. Thanks to a
highly sophisticated diffraction grating and state-of-the-art electronics
using best components this revolutionary spectrophotometer assures
utmost precision in the determination of color values, as required
today for numerous applications. The core of this instrument is a diffraction
grating, warranting maximum stability and accuracy. This makes
it possible to solve even the most complex color determination problems.
For digital imaging
Individual ICC profiles for input and output equipment, such as e.g.
scanner, printer, can be created by means of the measuring values
of Spectro 100xy. The profiles are then used by a color management
system, such as BARBIERI Profile-Xpert, for exactly matching
the colors of original and copy. Hence such an instrument is indispensable
for extremely true color rendition of scanned in and elaborated film
or paper originals. For contrary to the adaptation of characteristic
curves and gradation correction as can be made with densitometers,
the Spectro 100xy bases the color adaptation on the transformation
in a color space resulting in a much bigger precision.
For traditional photography
Quality control in photo labs can be very much improved thanks to Spectro
100xy, as with its help the color difference (CIE, DEab and DEuv)
as felt by the human eye can be exactly determined. When duplicating
transparencies or prints the values thus determined allow allocation
of the final products to an independent quality grade (color difference
according to DIN/ISO standards). Spectro 100xy can also be used as
a very accurate densitometer, because it displays on the computer
the densities of film and paper with a precision not reached by
densitometers.

Profile Plus and Link Profile Plus
Software for profile creation of CMYK and RGB–output devices (Mac
and PC). Special features include: enhanced gamut mapping and device-link
profiles.
Profile-Xpert Display
Application for calibrating and profiling any type of display (Crt
and LCD). Users can set the white point to standard values, a wide
range of Kelvin values, or measure a viewing light and calibrate
to it. A wide range of gammas is supported. Furthermore, the software
allows you the verification of stability and accuracy of your monitor.
After the profile is created, resulting curves show the display calibration
and provide the option for additional adjustment. The new version

Profile-Xpert Print3C
Application for creating RGB output device ICC profiles. Profile-Xpert
Print3C uses the measurement file and the target definition to create
a profile, establishing in the profile an equivalence between the
RGB device values and the actual colors printed by the device. When
saving the profile, the user can select the default rendering intent
and populate all the descriptor fields defined in a ICC profile.
Profile-Xpert Print4C
Application for creating CMYK output device ICC profiles Profile-Xpert
Print4C is in many ways identical to Profile-Xpert Print3C. In addition
to all of the many features described above, the CMYK application
(Print4C) offers a very complete range of ink utilization parameters
to control: total ink limit; maximum black; black starting point;
black curve shape; GCR in grays; and GCR in colors. Profile-Xpert
Print4C has all the same great features of Profile-Xpert Print3C.
